The state portal is ohcaprovider.com, and unusually for a managed care state it is still part of the answer rather than a dead end. Oklahoma runs SoonerSelect dental with exactly two plans — DentaQuest and LIBERTY Dental Plan — and fee-for-service SoonerCare alongside them. Three possible destinations, and that is the entire list.
Two plans is the hook, and the trap is forgetting the third route
Most managed care states hand you a plan roster long enough that you have to look up the administrator every single time. Oklahoma does not. If the patient is on SoonerSelect, the dental plan is DentaQuest or it is LIBERTY. If a call to one of them says the member is not theirs, the other one is not a guess — it is the remaining option.
The mistake that costs Oklahoma offices time is the opposite one: assuming SoonerSelect covers everybody. It does not. Fee-for-service SoonerCare still runs alongside it, and those members are verified and billed through the state system at ohcaprovider.com with no dental plan in between. An office that has fully absorbed "Oklahoma is managed care now" will ring two dental plans, be told twice that the member is not enrolled, and conclude the patient has no coverage — when the coverage is sitting in the state system it stopped checking.
So the sequence is: establish whether the patient is SoonerSelect or fee-for-service, and only then, if SoonerSelect, work out which of the two dental plans.

Every hostname above was put through a Domain Name System lookup on 10 September 2026 and every one returned an address. That is exactly what was verified and the limit of it — nobody signed in, and no claim is made about whether any of these sites is reachable from a given office network.
A domain wearing SoonerCare's name has been live since February
soonercareproviderportal.com was registered on 11 February 2026 — the earliest of a family of domains built on one pattern, a real portal's name with providerportal.com glued on the end, all registered through the same registrar under privacy protection and sitting behind Cloudflare. It still resolved on 10 September 2026. Its page title borrows SoonerCare's name; nothing beyond the title was read, so nothing beyond this is claimed: it is not SoonerCare, and the address that is SoonerCare is ohcaprovider.com.
What to do
- Check SoonerSelect versus fee-for-service first. Two dental plans do not cover the whole programme, and a fee-for-service member looks like a coverage gap if you only ring the plans.
- Treat the two SoonerSelect plans as a pair. Not DentaQuest means LIBERTY. There is no third dental plan to hunt for.
- Type ohcaprovider.com rather than searching for "SoonerCare provider portal". A domain built on that exact phrase has been live since February 2026 and is not the portal.
- Record the route against the patient's enrolment — SoonerSelect plan or fee-for-service — rather than against "Oklahoma Medicaid", which loses the distinction that decides the login.
