There is no single Michigan Medicaid dental portal, and asking for one is how the day gets lost. Michigan routes the dental benefit per plan, today across four administrators — Delta Dental, DentaQuest, SKYGEN and UnitedHealthcare. The patient's plan decides the login. deltadentalmi.com and dentalofficetoolkit.com are the Delta Dental route; providers.dentaquest.com is the DentaQuest route. All three resolved when we looked them up in the Domain Name System on 10 September 2026.
The date that ends the routing question: 1 October 2026
On 1 October 2026, all Healthy Kids Dental consolidates to Delta Dental of Michigan. Offices billing the children's programme through another plan are re-papered onto one payer, and after that date the "which administrator?" step disappears for Healthy Kids Dental.
Two things follow, and they pull in opposite directions. Until 1 October you still have to route per plan, so do not start filing Michigan children's claims to Delta Dental early. And what is changing is Healthy Kids Dental specifically — nothing in the announced consolidation says the Healthy Michigan Plan's routing moves with it, so treat adult routing as unchanged until the plan itself tells you otherwise.
Four administrators, three published addresses
The state-by-state directory names three login addresses against Michigan and four administrators. The SKYGEN and UnitedHealthcare routes into Michigan Medicaid dental are not among the named addresses. That gap is real rather than an omission worth guessing at: if the patient's plan subcontracts to either of those two, ring the plan and write down the address they give you. A hostname borrowed from another state's row is not evidence about Michigan.
dentalofficetoolkit.com looks wrong and is on the list
The address a Michigan office signs in at names neither the state nor the carrier, which is exactly the shape of a domain people are — rightly — taught to distrust. One check is available to you before you type credentials into it: on 10 September 2026, deltadentalmi.com and dentalofficetoolkit.com returned the same pair of addresses in DNS. That does not prove who operates either name, and we are not claiming it does. It does mean the odd-looking one is not sitting somewhere unrelated to the one you recognise.

The check was a DNS lookup on 10 September 2026: each hostname resolves to an address. That is what we verified and the limit of it. We did not sign in, and we make no claim that any of these portals was reachable from any particular network — several payer and state portals refuse traffic that does not come from an ordinary office connection, so a failed connection from elsewhere proves nothing.
What to do
- Read the plan off the card before you look for a portal. In Michigan the plan is the routing key, not the programme name.
- Diary 1 October 2026 and re-check every Healthy Kids Dental patient's route after it. Bookmarks filed under "Michigan Medicaid" will send the next person to a payer that no longer holds the child.
- Do not move the Healthy Michigan Plan on the same date. Confirm adult routing with the plan; only the children's programme is named in the consolidation.
- Record the portal against the plan in your practice management system, not against the state — a note filed under "Medicaid" is useless in a per-plan state.
- If the plan is a SKYGEN or UnitedHealthcare route, ring the plan for the address and keep what they tell you.
