Two things offices are told about Vermont that are wrong
It is not DentaQuest. Vermont is frequently assumed to carve dental out to a benefit manager because most states do. It does not. If somebody has sent you to a DentaQuest provider portal for a Vermont Medicaid member, that is a dead end — the benefit is administered by the state programme directly, fee-for-service.
There is no product called "Dentalk". The name circulates in billing forums and in the occasional vendor list. Whatever it refers to, it is not the route into Vermont Medicaid dental, and searching for it will not land you anywhere useful.
Both of these send offices looking for a door that does not exist, and both end the same way: someone concludes the patient's dental coverage cannot be verified. It can. It is at the address above.
The site's own title says "Medical"
When you reach vtmedicaid.com, the page title reads Medical.
That title is the third thing that turns Vermont offices around. A dental biller arrives, sees a heading that appears to be for medical claims, assumes the dental portal is elsewhere, and leaves to go looking for it. There is nowhere else to go — this is the portal for both, and the title is simply describing the programme rather than the benefit.

The hostname was put through a Domain Name System lookup on 10 September 2026 and resolved. That is what we verified and the limit of it. We did not sign in, and we make no claim about whether the portal was reachable from any particular network — several state portals refuse traffic that does not look like an ordinary browser, so a failure from somewhere else proves nothing.
Vermont is one of only a handful of states where the answer is genuinely this short. Most states carve dental out to a benefit manager, which is why the reflex to look for one is so strong — and why it wastes so much time here.
