Kaylie does the Medi-Cal Dental lookup for you
The same lookup your team does by hand, done before the patient arrives, for Medicaid and commercial plans alike.
Kaylie signs in to Medi-Cal Dental
Kaylie signs in to the Medi-Cal Dental provider portal with your office's own login and runs the eligibility lookup for each patient on the schedule.
What comes back, before the visit
Whether the member is eligible on the visit date, their aid code, county and share of cost, and the eligibility confirmation saved to the appointment. Medi-Cal returns no procedure-level benefits, so Kaylie does not invent any.
Into your practice software
Written back automatically on Open Dental, CareStack and Eaglesoft. On any other system, the breakdown comes laid out to paste into the chart.

Is Medi-Cal Dental the right portal for this patient?
- Outside Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, Medi-Cal Dental is state fee-for-service with no dental benefit manager to find first.
- In Sacramento County (mandatory) and Los Angeles County (opt-in), a member in Dental Managed Care is checked with their plan — Health Net, LIBERTY Dental Plan or California Dental Network — not here.
- Use the whole address. Shortened to cammis.medi-cal.ca.gov it has no DNS record, and the browser's error reads exactly like an outage.
